ACHIEVED! FIELD 1
I recently arrived at Camp 2 at an altitude of 6,900 meters!
the weather is better than yesterday: a little 'rain and strong winds, but much better than the storm that has accompanied them during the climb to C1.
Everything ok then, the ascent went well although last night was a bit hectic because of the wind!
now hope other weather is clement.
For tomorrow is expected to climb to Camp 3 at about 7,300 m. and the day after attack on top!

What Happens If A Plasma Ball Breaks
BLUE SKY AND STRONG WIND
News from our four climbers: waiting for the wind to calm down to Advanced Base Camp are very sorry for the failed attempt a few days ago. For the moment, rest and seek to recover the maximum forces.
imagine how great the disappointment and the desire to reach the top after so many days of waiting!
depart on 28 or 29 for the last attempt because at the end of next week will return to Nepal.
We can not but send a very great good luck and wait for more precise information directly from them!

STILL A CASE OF STRONG WIND
The first attempt to climb to the summit failed.
Early this morning I was woken by a phone call to Andrew Z. : communication was not the best, but I realized they were all coming back to Advanced Base Camp due to strong winds.
I 2 sherpa who accompanied them have decided that they did not want to go further just because of the weather and our four was impossible to continue without the guidance (and above the strings!) Of the Tibetans.
Rieti The two climbers were forced to return for the same reason.
You can imagine the mood of Andrea (he wanted to go ahead, despite the negative opinion of the companions!) Which I guess is the same as Andrea M., Alexander and Philip!
After a couple of days of rest had left very early this morning, all in good shape (even Andrea Montolli Forgot fever the first few weeks is in great shape thanks to the mysterious medicine prescribed by a doctor of Chinese expedition!), Heavily loaded and morally determined to do their best to reach the top in a few days. Unfortunately the weather was really bad this time.
wait a day or two at the advanced base camp for rest and refreshment for good (because if I understand it should be finally got the new chef) and then try between 1 / 2 days .

Compose from the advanced base camp, after lunch and finally with his belly full.
After 3 days of toil have finally placed in a field on the plateau above the Icefall 6400mt of Shishapangma.
parties on 20 days ago loaded with everything you need to equip the three fields on the mountain we spent the first night at the base of 5900mt serac and then cross the next morning and take us to the base of the steep channel that goes to campo1.La serac us busy for many hours having to find their way between ice pinnacles up to 10m high. Fortunately, the team of the Chinese group Scherp gave us a hand in identifying the location.
At the base of the channel to 6100mt Andrea Z. has continued to climb, bringing the material to a height of 6300mt and then descends to the rest of the group at the base of the ramp where he would spent the notte.Fortunatamente bad weather has run out during the night and the morning of September 22 there 6400mt allowed to climb to the plateau which was set up with 2 tents, campo1.La climb proved far from easy, only the first 100 meters of fixed rope, and then channel showed it was decided to proceed on the rope .... suitable choice since Philip and Andrew Z. have decided to go inside some crack.
All over for the better with the arrival in the late evening of the 4 advanced base camp, where there was a very good refreshed overcooked pasta topped with ketchup served by the kitchen boy Panden.
Tomorrow we will spend another day of rest at ABC (advanced base camp) and 25 we will be back in march campo1.Gli Friends Rieti start tomorrow by making an intermediate stop at the camp store and us together later in the evening at 26 1 The field is everything will move to field 2 and field3 to 27. ... the first attempt the summit should therefore 28September ... .. hopefully good.

MESSAGE FROM BASE CAMP ADVANCED
Today we received a brief phone call from Advanced Base Camp: Camp 1 installed, the program is to rest a couple of days to go back to Advanced Base on Thursday to reach Camp 1 and mount in the days following the Camp 2 and 3. Likely day for the first time to the peak is 28.
The weather is a bit 'uncertain, a little snow during the day' and usually in the evening the clouds give way to the stars. Always very cold!
They are all well but they say at the moment feel very lack of cook ... unfortunately will not be replaced, and then organized themselves to cook a round of hot dishes. Mah .. who knows what delicious food .... Today for example the "cook chores" has prepared very Italian spaghetti carbonara!
So ... Bon appetit! And most of all good rest in preparation for the labors of the coming days.
force, my thoughts are always with you!

Dickies Store In Miami
GROUP ACCOMMODATION IN SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA !!!!....... the story
We start from the beginning ....
Who is the group holiday? ...
we can define it as a group has arisen occasionally in a hostel in Leon between characters, yes! You knew but did not believe the way to deal with when they decided to leave!
The holiday group has among its ranks and Chil Bagheera (the cupids), Rama (controversy, but the easy joke), Mama Rasha (the fearless who walks with the toes) and Uncle Pax (i-pode of the road .... a little super controversial) on the way they recovered two girls who started late wandering in solitary Charlotte and Valerie (the pilgrims).
main feature of the group was being "the kings of Lille" lived all the way to the spirit of peace, of making things easy .... Although this aroused the calm of Pax uncle who saw pass by all cyclists, young, old, slim and in the flesh!
all started like this ... In one day in August from Ciampino part of the low-cost flight leads them to Santander airport in northern Spain which will be achieved by various means of transportation offered by the towns of the Iberian Peninsula way. From here, in fact, with the first of a long series of buses, their inseparable companions for the first days, reached Leon, a charming town full of beautiful churches, a cathedral econ. By Leon Ponferrada next destination and the castle of the Knights Templar ... a castle that has nothing to envy to those of fairy tales, you see there motionless, an immense, rich in history .... You can not deprive you of the pleasure to visit, some to see the outside from the inside you expect great things, but time passes for all and for the castles, so the rooms are gone, you have to make do the walk on the walls, view down from the ancient battlements imagining that there in those bridges, those windows, those in the straight and narrow stairs many, many years ago there were the Knights Templar and enjoy the view! Nice nice nice! Here is
after doing this jump in history for our friends the adventure becomes more complicated .... They thought that the English media had betrayed them and in the blink of an eye would take them to Sarria, oh the twinkling of an eye seeing the optics of a pilgrim should walk the street .... Even the trains do have their time and km Ponferrada, Sarria are not just stuck on the contrary ...
Ponferrada, Sarria became a nightmare ... .. suffice it to say that the motto of the group was "that it will be 'in Sarrià RRIVà!". There is no direct bus let alone a train. ... The group relies so after many vicissitudes of the bus to Villa Franca, and from there change to achieve the long-awaited ... Sarria. All in two days .... Days removed from the true path lived with the anxiety not to achieve it!
Sarria - Santiago .... The last 100 km of the journey will help you make the Compostela ... ... it is here that the group of para-loving pilgrims to greet the bus wheeled their friend and start to move with their feet!
Now you just explain to those who are unaware what this Compostela. We must take a step back and explain that along the way each Pilgrim has an inseparable friend of the trip ... the credential! The credential is a pamphlet that you take before you go and need to testify that he walked the walk or bike or at least the last km to take so Compostela, which is a parchment certifying that you have been a pilgrim to Santiago! Can you imagine how the whole path is characterized by the ritual of the stamps on the credential, each country is met with a stop at a church in a bar in a albergue to get the stamp!
starts now for the holiday group the true path ... ..
I write with the fear of not being able to express in words the beauty admired, the days spent with their pros and cons, the emotions .... I hope that with this jumble of words, thoughts and emotions you may feel at least some of what we have experienced us, you can immerse yourself in our journey and why not! ... maybe come to the end of this post will be coming from a great desire!
Imagine a landscape that reminds a bit 'the landscape of the Marches, a mixture of cultivated fields, grazing animals, woods, streams and small towns ... .. Put a little 'dirt road, some rocks here and there and paved road, daring descents and ascents. ... Consider walking a bit 'in the shade, a bit' in the sun, considering the fact that shares in the morning which is cool almost cold and this temperature takes you up to late morning and then come the 14 and you die, you'll melt under the sun! Put some bubbles into account that if you're unlucky or cursed as Bag says "delicate feet," are sure to entertain you the way, some muscle pain and, from experience, always bad luck if you attend you will find a nice stomach with all attached because you know that the water path to the taste of chlorine is not the best for the stomach of an Italian drinking water sources Apennine directly from the tap at home! .... Here is the summary of what is physically the Camino de Santiago!
to keep you company all the way there is the arrow, the famous yellow arrow in Santiago that are everywhere on the walls of houses, trees, marked on the asphalt and concrete columns that make you count down the kilometers to go ... miss you .. there are days that you and appreciate you doing the photos and days instead of the curse, the hatred ... .. but all this is part of the way! The road is like life, you never know what to expect and everyone faces as it may, there are those who deal with a smile, maybe picking flowers for his beloved, who confronts her singing, there are pilgrims who are envious of how the way they live in a spirit of joy without suffering hardships that come before, but there are also those in front adversity strikes, then the beauty of travel is to grit our teeth and continue .... I tell you from personal experience that you understand that beauty is only continue to walk over, when you reach the destination in spite of everything, right there at the mercy of pain and despair, you're upset and still is a tough choice! The strange thing, almost pointless is that even if you would drop everything and thrown into a beach in southern Spain in comfort and entertainment at the end no one knows what strange force of nature in the morning you wake up at 7, you load a backpack shoulder and back on the road .... maybe with a smile on his lips as if the pain of yesterday there were ... .. The road gives you
certainly the best moments of the journey .... Along the way you are immersed in nature, you look around and observe, not only limits you to quickly see which features your everyday life, every little thing nature has to offer something different, more beautiful flowers, animals, trees with The twisted trunk that make you gape ... .. the way nature is, is where you can feel is to say stupid things or talk about anything that you meet your fellow travelers, but is also the place where you can be alone with yourself to think ... .. The road
asks you so much but gives you much more! Add to all
many people, English people, people from all over the world, many faces, many languages, many stories ... .. this is one of the special meetings of the way ... ... every face, every person has something to tell you met her, saying, give a smile to fill your backpack memories, anecdotes, to go faster miles, cheer for a break or to spend an evening together and make a walk on dirt roads all the unforgettable journey of Santiago. You breathe a different air .... All of them are friends of all, there is a fraternal cooperation among the pilgrims, there is a willingness to accept by the Spaniards, the ospitaleri but also the simple peasants as she passed to their lands do not deny a greeting ... .. from anywhere in the world you come from, whatever language you speak, or just a ULTREJA BUEN CAMINO not to make you feel alone, but part of a big family .... one of the pilgrims of Santiago joined by a backpack or bag attached to a bicycle, a donkey or a horse, a stick and the shell (this is the symbol that marks the pilgrim).
Day after day, miles after miles, song after song .... Reach the goal ... ... Santiago !!... stand there under the basilica, captured by its vastness, its beauty ... .. happy to have achieved the anticipated goal, maybe even with a lump in my throat and a very close to tears because you did it, did you get there after all ... .. is joy, great joy, an emotion that is hard to describe in words and while you're lining up to take the coveted Compostela review all the characters met on the street and among a smile, a greeting to the sums throws your way ... .. Sun, joys, sorrows, faces, smiles, laughter, head cabbage, great speeches, beautiful places ... .... After all we can say that is a beautiful experience that is worth doing!
Santiago reached if the forces and the available time permitting, can still walk up to us as an alternative Fisterre we made 3 Oretta crazy bus with driver and not just those that can be defined as good and we found ourselves in a great place, a dream, a paradise .... The last piece of land in Europe ... .. a small village overlooking the ocean where you can breathe "perfume" of fish, you can bathe in the icy waters of the Atlantic, a place where tradition is used to burn something on the way to the lighthouse and we admired a sunset magic, really bellissimissimo that takes your breath away ... .. our trip, our adventure could not have ended better!
tell you what happened day by day, hour by hour, several stories have been long and at the end not too interesting, news technical details because I have not written much if any on a search engine type in "Way of Saint James" will find a tidal news.
